Brian Mccray is the only one I will ever send my shoes to. He has closed his shop in Vegas but will take shoes if you can be patient. Turn around is 4-6 weeks. climbingresoles.com

I've used Rock and Resole (Boulder, CO) for 10 years. They turn your shoes around in 2 days after they receive them--so, it always takes 1 week or less. The resole is better than the originals that come with the shoes. The resoles from this place are PERFECT every time. Just call information or look on the internet for the phone number and the person there will tell you the address and other important details. 8)

Steve,

With all these recommendations and testimonies, it seems as though you can't go wrong.

Good luck. Let everyone know who you choose and how they turn out.

Thanks all.
As some of you know I have this strange fetish for 5.10 Lynx, a shoe they discontinued back in '93 (if you no of any pairs out there please let me know). I'm trying to keep this pair going for as long as possible and worry about getting a good resole job. Red Rocks Resole was my place of choice, but that is no more since Jules passed away. Now I'm loking for a new place to intrust my shoes with and get a fast turn around time. Thanks for the positive review on Crescent sik, I was looking at them and the RR. As for this local character I'm sure I will give him a try with my other shoes which also have a hole in the toe. (why do I always wait until all my shoes fall apart to get them resoled?)

I sent mine, artsays and Rays to George Pop. He did an excellent job and I got them back in less than 2 weeks. You can do a "ghita pop" search and find out more about him he lives in Atlanta but is from Romania.

Here is his info and prices:

I'm a local college student who has just perfected his art. I gaurantee my resoles. If they peel,I will restick them. You will get full wear out of your shoes.
I charge $30. Toe caps included.

$30 gauranteed resoles w/toe caps.

To get your shoes to me you can either drop them off with me at Miguel's while I'm climbing during the weekend, or you can bring them to me at Richmond.

I do "emergency" resoles also.I can have them done overnight.

Well I sent my shoes to Crescent and got them back last Friday (one week, 2 days). Pretty fast turn-around, but not too sure of the job. Looks ok from the outset, but I'm a little worried the toe cap and rand work will wear off in cracks. All in all I can't complain since this is the 3rd resole job on these shoes.
