Doesn't the name give you an indication of the trustworthiness of the quality of the route?

Well I went and did HCB on Saturday. The majority of the route is fairly easy and a good warmup for the top. The top is fairly short, powerful and a little sandy from lack of any traffic. This climb does give you the sense of a big climb and high quality.

Cool, now you and Dan can race to see who's first to do both of these choss-piles and tell us which one is worse. The fame, the glory!

Congrats Mike on getting the second ascent! The sand is infortunately the result of denuding at the top created from a combination of rappellers collaring trees and a forest fire.

nice work Mike!! Gotta get up there sometime.
