setting tricams in "active" mode

Placing a cam? Slotting a nut? Slinging a tree?

I started out climbing trad on hexes, stoppers and tri-cams. I have a full set of tri-cams but never use them anymore. Aliens work just about anywere a tri-cam would, less likely to fall out, faster to place and remove and won't become permanent if you fall on them.
