I've never climbed it, but hueco is in. Doesn't mean you have to use it.
So I guess that means 12b?
$1 to Muir Valley please.

Downgrading is appropriate if you can get to the hueco safely. But then, I guess that depends on who's belaying you.
Start writin' that check, Clif.

even i'll donate someone else's money to muir.
downgrading in order to keep consistent with the easiest known beta is the best way to handle this type of thing. unfortunately, in the red if you are want the grade bad enough you can usually do some pretty ridiculous shit to fluff your ticklist (traverse to flour power rest from bohica, calm like a bomb traverse, kaleidoscope rest, etc...)

Man, as much as I adore Liz and Rick I just can't muster any excitement for this.
I will say that my friend from CA onsighted it (with the hueco of course, since eliminates are for choads) and giggled girlishly that it was 12a at best. But then, he climbs on granite, which occasionally features actual hard moves.
There, that's gotta be worth a buck.

sorry you feel that way and don't know why. just trying to have some fun. say something stupid or better yet funny or interesting and make a buck for Muir. maybe i'll run an impromptu fundraiser for conscientious prudes later and we can discuss if coming out as gay helps footwork?
