I would like to take this time to thank and welcome the 2 newest members of my merry band of Drillbillies.
Jason Nolte
Joey Sena
These guys have stepped up in a very big way.
They are pretty new to the Red climbing scene, but have allready made the Red a better place to climb. They pick up trash do trail work and replace bad bolts. They are out there doing this every weekend damn near.
Alot can be learned from guys like this. Instead of just using and abusing they give back in a big way.
I'll be honest i had just about given up on , well everything trail work, bolting and rebolting .
These guys showed me the way back. When they first asked me to help out. I said are you sure? You know its a thankless job. You'll spend alot of mony. Lose climbing time. And some people will just bitch and tell ya you shouldn't be doing this or that. Also the Drillbillies only do the hard grunt work. Hand drilling in far away craggs with SS glue ins. Hard dirty work.
But they didnt listen and have made a great addition to the Red. Thanx guys you are true rock stars.
So if ya ever meet a drillbilly say thanx or buy em a beer or carry there pack chances are they have some new bolts for you to clip. They may even let you help.

Also a huge thanx to FGI for taking some of the sting out of our wallets. This is the best place you could spend your money for climbing.
We can buy all the land but we still need to replace a ton of bad bolts and it should not just fall on a very small group.
If you dont want to just give your money away you could always just buy bolts and find a Drillbilly and they will rebolt the route you want. You can see your money go into the rock.
Thank you for reading and sorry for the bad grammer and spelling.
Climb safe and have fun. Patrick Miller

Thanks Patrick Miller for being such a great friend and mentor! Over the few years me and you have climbed together you've taught me to climb safely and hard. You taught me to leave it better that i found it. And showed me that this place I've grow to love doesn't take care of itself.
