Maybe its the bankruptcy or the divorce. or maybe its that I couldn't find work and my x won't let me see my kid. Or maybe its that after two years of unemployment and being on food stamps to feed my kids. Maybe I'm psyked to be able to provide for my family and not have to go to the goverment with my hand out. Maybe its all of the ways that I've tried to save money. Making my own laundry soap and lye soap. To trading around with guns and making a little money doing it. Going to school full time in the hopes that there is an ecomony and my skill set will be in demand when I get out. Maybe...Or maybe its that I don't think that theres going to be a prosperous ecomony in Americas future. Maybe its all those political things and all those socio-economic things all rolled into one.

Or it just may be that I like killing and eating...

Sorry you didn't appreciate my story...more to follow...

i'm probably in error. if anything, being confronted by your description exceeds my own exploration of the effects of my diet and efforts to be responsible for it.
i suppose i don't think there was anything painless about it-

I can positively testify to the fact that he didn't writhe around on the ground in agony. The whole undertaking took less than two minutes. Besides, do you eat meat?

I turned both hindquarters of a deer into jerky after last season. I didn't kill that deer; but I grew up hunting and the largest buck I ever got was a 7 pointer, can't remember the spread, but weighed in around 190. I like that when I am climbing, and everyone else is eating clif bars, I am eating home prepped deer jerky. I plan on making more this year too. (My father, my brother, and my father in law all hunt). I made my own seasoning last year from soy sauce, cajun seasoning, and a little worcestershire sauce. I will probably just go with Dale's Seasoning this time though.

If you ever see me at the crag, there is a good chance that I have some deer jerky with me. If you want a taste of a real free range, happy animal, that didn't grow up on a factory farm, and is local to Kentucky, give me a holler and I will gladly share.

I think the cool kids call it "organic". I always enjoy a good harvest and some kick ass deer jerky

I'm using a .357 loaded to 38 special ballistics and shooting at less than 50 yards. Besides its not even a question of sportsmanship. Its a question of subsistance. Do you look at that tofu concoction that you feast on everyday and ask youself,"how sporting is this tofu-burger?" Its probably not even a question in your twisted logic...
