Re: Community Meeting - Nov 9th
as an aside, in my last post, "you" was not directed at joe, but meaning "us" as a community.
and joe, I do have those same exact questions on LAC. maybe you and I can take it on as our pet project...wouldn't that be a hoot..the two most diplomatic voices on here...lol
krampus, if you would like to be involved, let me know. we can hold a meeting in l'ville for that contingent. you set the date, and we'll make it happen.

To my understanding, this is meeting is to address fixed gear ethics in the Red. Not to plan a long term course for expansion and crowd management. Although your points are interesting and worthy of discussion, just not appropriate for this particular forum.Clevis Hitch wrote:They don't like it when I show up. It's like a cave man coming to your moms bridge club. besides, I have the ultimate solution to all of your problems. Disperse, quit cluster-fucking up one wall and it wont be a problem. Push the LAC through and go bolt on FS land-en masse! There are lots bigger things out there other than that one little wall. What ever happened to hardening a base. I know there was money spent and grants filled out, so what happened?
Why can't we push through the LAC? Why has it taken (?) 10 years(?)? Red Rock had theirs completed in (?)Three(?)?
Re: Community Meeting - Nov 9th
lets get video conferencing for every gym that helps to fill the red. I don't care enough about the issue to show up, and I am not going to feel guilty about hanging project draws unless the land owner doesn't want me to, I could care less if self proclaimed locals want the crags to themselves
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

I cannot attend but I met with Shannon on Monday so if there's a vote hers counts as TWO!
Seriously though, this isn't a voting forum or decision making meeting or anything like that. It's simply a casual gathering to hear opinions, consider solutions, and layout options. I really appreciate all of Shannon's effort with this. She's spending a lot of time to speak to folks and is writing out everything in a clear and concise way.

I would if enough people in Columbus were interested and had an opinion. I will ask around at the gym and see if enough people care to meet.
