that is another question...does Dario own the Lode now, or jut have acreage on top? or perhaps own the Stain wall, but not the madness on around?

Mostly steel permas and some aluminum were there. The Undertow is still owned by another party. The draws will be back on popular routes, except now they will all be jingus aluminum junk.

I'm a fan of perma draws!...helpful for projecting and, obviously makes cleaning steep routes more convenient and safe...I would like to see most of the routes at GMC, Madness, and Undertow continue to be outfitted! Obviously, any unsafe or really old permas need to be removed and then potentially replaced by the community and/or individual perma donors. Also...I hope Dario now owns the Lode...if so, it's in safe hands!

I agree with you B-rock,and if this was is an attempt to decrease traffic, why do it right after rocktober fest and not before?

Huh, maybe i can convince myself that hanging my own draws all the time is super bad ass. I guess it could become the norm

I seriously doubt that this was an attempt to reduce traffic...most likely, it was an attempt to rid the Lode of old, manky, and potentially unsafe gear! As far as climbing traffic, I think that perma draws actually help to facilitate the speed and flow of traffic efficiently, especially on busy days. Oh, and hanging draws is more bad-ass than simply clipping, but obviously can be a real pain when it comes to cleaning...some routes are simply perma worthy!
