Oh, and to respond to what you wrote on the Twinkie page:

"After cleaning this without the fix draws I can one give it 0 or 1 star."

That is awesome! Don't have to worry about finding you on anything steep without perma's. Sack up and quit whining.

There is fix draws in some routes all over the world but I am an ignorant, sorry for the offense and thanks for lecturing me.

Hahaha this has to be one of the funniest threads on the forum. Someone said "consensus has spoken, your a douche." hahaha There is more drama here then a 12 year old girls myspace page. Did anyone think to ask why he thought this was a mistake? I have heard that there has been a request to not put up any project draws or perma draws because this needs to be approved. Did anyone think about getting the perma-draws approved before taking them down? Im just asking because I am ignorant, and maybe if you dont like people being ignorant you should provide education not more ignorance. And if you really want to talk about a consensus the consensus has been time and time again that the petty arguments that are taking place on these forums are just scared little girls drama outlets. These forums can and should be used to empower the climbing community instead they are tearing it apart. If i ever found out someone i know outside the climbing world read some of these posts I would be ashamed and I think all of us as climbers should reconsider what the purpose of this forum is.

Ha ha! You really don't belong on this forum. Since you actually asked, I will explain... NSFS currently does not allow any more fixed development as they believe it will increase utilization and ultimately impact. They view adding perma draws in such a light. Based upon the OP I would say there assessment is spot on. You just have to ask, and not be a douche.

twinkie does not need perma draws = true!
this forum does not need to be "rude first ask questions later" = true!.....or
insult, think five people is a concensus, just so "I" can be more rude...etc, etc.
need to follow NFS regulations = true!

as for the individual who first put the perma draws on the route.....it will be hard to find a better person and since he has climbed in the gorge for over 15 years (lived on the planet for 60 +), i think he deserves some respect, even though his acts do not "meet current federal code"...they do meet general accepted activity in many areas (there are pro's and cons of each side).....regardless he is a great guy and was only trying to help us all!

Hanging the draws on this rig....only gives one the excuse to have to climb it again and clean draws (which = fun) ...otherwise on a down clean....it seems hard at frst, but is actually pretty easy once you learn the Technique....

sometimes they are used to 'empower' the community, but when people troll (as seen in this thread) they deserve as much textual malice as we - the humble servants of the internets - can dish out.

if someone doesn't keep trolls and noobs in check, the whole thing will become an indistinguishable mess of smiley faces.
