If you are wanting to climb at Muir Valley and want to carpool, come be Land of the Arches Campground and see me EARLY!! We have a limited amount of extra space are going to offer free parking this weekend for those who carpool to Muir. I'll be around all mornings until 11:00 or so. You will need a car pass so be sure to talk to me first.

Wow! I hadn't thought of that, great idea. I'm gonna' say something to the owner of the camp. We talked about a dog sitting service once, but I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot stick clip!

AND OPEN YOUR WALLETS PEOPLE!!!
It is not "free" to provide what the Webers

Saturday 2PM

Made it in the nick of time! The road is graded and graveled. The water line installed, restrooms reopened, parking lot repaired and resurfaced with gravel. Lots of climbers today, but because many decided to car pool, we only had to work with about 90 cars. Big thanks to all.

Just checked out the popular walls, and surprisingly, they are not over crowded with plenty of open routes. People seem to be spreading out more to the remote climbs in the Valley.

Great weather. Great weekend. Meeting a lot of new friends from all over the world. Life is good.

Glad to hear that everything went great. Hopefully it will be a great weekend. Gonna try to head down to either Muir or PMRP on Monday. I really hope people start trying out some of the less popular crags, there are a lot of them in the valley.
