Is that just being part of the climbing community and we should just all share our shit or does that just seem odd that people invade your space with out asking? If they had, I really wouldn't care...

Last time I checked, this sort of behavior was supposed to be corrected by the parents before kids reached elementary school grades. But why am I not surprized?

I could maybe understad sitting and leaning against someone's pack. The person doing it might not have realized that it wasn't one of their buddies' pack, for example. But hammock-- yes, that's hard to do " by accident".

Lena, no way that the didn't know it was not their pack. They really liked my little climbing blanket I bring to crags... I didn't call anyone out because I didn't want to come across as a jerk. I think next time I will tell them I don't mind them sitting on my shit, but ask first. Sad thing is I am pretty sure there will be a next time.

That is definitely a 'punch dude in the face' situation.

maybe it's that the guy sitting on your shit assumed that you were as big a pussy as he was and wouldn't say anything to him because he wouldn't say anything to you.

Or... look at it like dogs. When another dog takes a dogs shit, its a ploy for dominance...

I have spent maybe 20 minutes total in it since I bought it. But, go climbing with your girlfriend and a 3 and 6 year old and you will get the hammock thing. ;)

Yeah, I should just quit climbing for the next 15 years...
Btw, they were both girls so no punching anyone out.

Maybe they were flirting with you? Or perhaps looking for a "daddy" type?
