Would putting up gates at more trailheads like at the Solar Collector solve the issue? It would keep out OHV traffic and at the same time remind folks to donate.

with new trails you can help eliminate them by the design of the trail. on older areas access areas that use wider roads/trails the open gates may be an option. as with most things education and getting the word out can be our best tools, to both the atv'rs and climber.
