This coming from the girliest girlie-man that ever pranced around the crag in lycra.

What happens at the cliff stays at the cliff.

It made me dizzy... The camera was moving up/down too fast.

I think the perspective will always be kinda hard because the climber's head movements only make sense to him. Maybe slowmo with intentional glances at holds and position for crux sequences?

remember that video of cell block six that had the sound effects on the crimpers? could you make the rock moan like a girl, or maybe, say: (in a sexy, breathless woman's voice)
'put your foot over there' when you look down?

my roommate suggested that instead of music have a running commentary by the climber about the climb. Not recorded while climbing the route, but afterwards on decent sound equipment so as to really give the viewer a sense of the movement. Would that be helpful or just be too much beta? Maybe just during the crux sections? I realize that no one has to be told how to deal with large jugs... except maybe the lurkist and his girly arms.

Use the 1st person cam in conjunction with the conventional 3rd person cam and mix the multi-source video with audio after the session.

Shit, I'd be all about taking your money for that one!
I've actually always thought about selling beta maps to the classic 12's and easy 13's, called "Cliff Notes".
