There are some trad lines. We didn't include all of the routes because there are 150 routes out there and we only have 2 months for the auction. We tried to just do the most well-known routes.

The site is awesome!

So, is that natural bridge on the main navigation page on the property down there? Bolts on that would be sweet. :)

How many of you noticed that you can sort routes in www.thered.org climbing guide?
Available in the Sort Them!
Default (usually from right to left)
By Name
By Grade
By Sport Routes (and grade)
By Trad Routes (and grade)
By Recommended (and grade)

The site should provide a few more features - which will soon be available.
HEY... DON'T Forget: Register to Bid... 'cause you never know!

Thanks for all of your support!

I wish to personally thank, Vic Bacquet, on the behalf of the RRGCC and all the climbers of the Red for doing an OUTSTANDING JOB on our new web site www.thered.org.!!!

Vic has helped us take the RRGCC to a new level in protecting climbing at the Red with his excellent work, tireless effort, and selfish dedication to this ground-breaking project. We all owe you an enormous, "THANK YOU!" Vic stayed up all night to finish in time for this mornings deadline...go to sleep, Vic!

I would like to thank Lee Smith for all his hard work on the on-line guide...the boy worked hard and then drove all night to Texas just to make the deadline! That's dedication.

I would also like to thank "the RRGCC crew" who struggled so hard to come up the routes, but who's efforts really helped make this a success...Lee, Karen, Morgain, and Gretchen.

And to the "trouble shooters" who pre-viewed the web site and gave us their time and comments...Kelly, Khrys, Karen, Terry, Steve, Morgain, Hugh, Diane, Jim, Gretchen, and Julie.

You did good! :D

Thanks to everyone,
Shannon

Where can you see what the bids are on each route?

Go to Menu, Auction and there is a "route bid status" (not exact wording even though it's in quotes) selection. Click on and it tells ya. Lots o bidding so far....

 Yeah it would be pretty amusing if someone'd already signed up and bid exactly the same amount on each route...
