Why would a local need to rent a cabin? I tell you what I'd do though. If you wanna rent a couple of paintball guns. I'd let you get first shot....

I don't know you guys. I stayed there one night and kept feeling like someone was watching me!

All kidding aside, I couldn't agree with you more. With the addition of the mountain biking trails, RRO pretty much can handle any adventure need one might have.
Keep up the great work guys!! :D

I'd be really worried if JR were smoking a cig.

Im still am not exactly sure how we are the middle of this topic. I have been surprised over the last 24 hours receiving random messages from different folks stating that somehow we are the topic of discussion among a few different groups. I have been really trying to stay out of any dramas of the area, I have enough in my own life and just dont have time or energy to dwell on others drama.

But since it does sound like we are in the middle of this whether we want to or not I thought I would chime in.

First, on a personal side... seeing and hearing how folks feel about us and that folks "stand up" for their friends is a good feeling to have. Even though I really have no problem with local business expansion, thanks for having our back even when its not a big deal...... This community, even with its drama has proven time and time again from the smallest things to the biggest of lifes problems that they are here for everyone during times of need. IMO it truly is a special place to be a part of even with its soap opera script.....

On the same note I would like to suggest that folks, both sides, dont let personal differences get in the way of progression as a group, community and people....Debate is great but needs to be done in a civil manner, if it cannot be done in a civil manner then its just beating chests and nothing will ever change and the majority of the time it makes everything else worse. Regardless of the argument I believe that both sides can learn from each other if they allow each other and themselves to listen as much as they speak.

On the side of local business. I would like to make it clear as to what my opinion is.....

I do not have a problem with people expanding the area and its business offerings as long as they run a clean/honest business. IMO as long as people offer different options as to what already exists it does nothing but help the area, and the area desperately needs it. I wish nothing but good luck to Frank and Mandys new restaurant as well as what the Moores are doing around the PMRP area.

I think both of the above businesses will support the RRGCC and the overall area as they grow and figure out where they can fit in and be most useful.

Its the groups that come from out of town that are making money on the area that do not help in anyway at all....that chaps me. Whether its a college group, guide service, gym or whatever and they are using the area for large groups, making money or not, and they are not helping with trail days or at least donating they need called out and presented with how to help....

Those using the area or running a business from the success of the area...if you cant help take care of the area in some way then keep your ass away from the area....

So, JR was passed out on the couch (in his defense we had climbed a lot that day I was tired too) after having a couple of beers to cap off the day. Don and I were messing with him taking pictures-n-such, typical juvenile behavior. (I think we took his last beer out of his had). That did not last long. anyway So Don sat by JR and I was laying on the floor. when I look back from the TV that's what I saw. So I pick up my camera and shot a few pics.

Not too funny to hear about but a friggin riot after hearing all the shit Don was giving JR before he passed out too. Being the only other one in the room I was very amused :D

Thanks JR,
I had downloaded the PDF manual for the camera I was using and wanted to try a double exposure with it. I got the idea for the shot from the headline on the paper.
