other options:
- get a group together - 10 people is $460 for a full day so that's $46/person. surely you have more friends that would like to try climbing. it's lots of fun

- go to the UClimb clinic in the fall. it will be the 2nd weekend in september - includes 2 days of guided climbing instruction and is lots of fun. the website isn't up yet for it, but keep watching. i've verified that they will be having it again at RRG :-)

Good call Josie, my first outdoor climbing was at the Uclimb in 2007 and it was awesome.
