Actually, this team has grown leaps and bounds. Hey, how many opponent's shots have been taken since the third game when a UK player actually had their hand in the opponent's face? Harris and Miller are actually learning to handle the ball! Harris has yet to lose his mind and make one of his crazy "I can't take it anymore" drives and slam into the freaking post (he used to do that twice a game). It's the motion offense and quick pace we love. Oh and should I even mention passing? Outstanding. What do you want Piggie? Back to the four corners?

But, they need to keep games in perspective. And, the team is too deep to play so disjointedly when Wall is benched. They need to adjust and move on. We have shooters, defenders and big men. They freak when his energy leaves the court. That's not kewl. And did I mention that I have faith in Calipari to fix all of this?

But I too am psyched about basket ball. I didn't cover my eyes once last night with that icky feeling that we were going to suck...like I have been for the past four years.

most fun team to watch in over a decade. most talented team i've ever seen at kentucky (starting in the pitino era til now)

if they can get a bit more composure they'll be tough to beat; that said, they could also come out flat and get stomped by about anyone.

except arkansas. NOBODY can lose to arkansas.

was Wall on the bench last night for potentail cramps, or because he was playing as a solo superstar? I heard both.

I think both is the answer. Calipari doesn't throw his players under the bus. He deals with attitudes and team issues really privately. I like that about him. No reason to slag the kids in front of the media and the fans. Esp. in this day and age.

I love to give Spragwa and Charlie a hard time, but I must admit for an outsider I too am very excited for this season. These kids have superb potential, and this might be KY time to shine. Go Cats!

And notre dame just hired Brian Kelley. Besides, is Calipari really that good? He's technically never been to a final four, but people treat him like the second coming of jesus. I really don't understand that one.

I kinda get that not so fresh feeling when sprag talks hoop, but I have noticed coach Cal's substitutions late in the game that are refreshing, now if the football coaching staff didn't have the same mental capacity as say.. that confused child in the WH we would have beaten S.C. , Miss. St and Tn.

First win in Bloomington since 81, which is a pretty impressive stat on its own. Wall wasn't that far from a triple double.

Did you watch the game, Indiana is awful. Nobody on Indiana's team wanted to score. Kentucky showed up, tried half-ass, and pulled out an easy win. Wow indiana is bad this year.

Wall is a baller, he probably wears a flat billed hat he is so baller.
