Do people really spend $150 on a sport climbing harness? Wow, I have never spent more than $35 and have always been able to find a petzl harness on sale no problem.Saxman wrote:Arc'teryx makes the lightest and most comfortable/breathable harnesses right now and they are under 150.

spend the extra and get the corax2, the sama doesn't have adjustable leg loops, which can be a pain in the ass.rocclimber wrote:$50 Petzl Sama! Great comfy harness. low price tag.

No, the list is 135 and many places online have them for 99. They are comfortable and a lot of people wear them, however there are probably many of those who are using pro deals to get them.chriss wrote:Do people really spend $150 on a sport climbing harness? The theory of evolution is just as stupid as the theories of gravity and electromagnetism.

Go with arteryx or petzl. Can't go wrong. I've had misty mountain,Petzl,Metolius and BD. I just spent $125 on a metolius waldo. If you're going light weight then go with Petzl or BD. If you're going with comfort and longevity go with arcteryx or petzl.
