Yes it did... I guess it's saved my life 1000 times. I wonder what the chances are of a biner piercing your harness during a fall? I'm just glad it wasn't my foot or face or something.

I had a freaky situation happen in the same vane as this. I was climbing past the low first bolt of a route when the draw got clipped into the pull loop on one of my shoes. I couldn't climb up or down and a fall would flip me over and i'd land on my head no matter what my belayer did. luckily i was wearing slippers and could slide/kick the shoe off and climb down to the bolt. it was freaky shit. im glad that your weird experience didn't kill you

Glad you made it okay! I'm gonna need a full on stick- cartoon of the whole thing to imagine it correctly. . .
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm okay too... It's just a reminder that wierd dangerous shit can happen any time, and to be prepared. As for the stick cartoon, I don't think I can help you with that one.
