Twas a memorable day indeed...
Brontosaurus is on my list, as is Headstone Surfer. My regular trad partner has pretty much surpassed me on the project list, he's moved on to 11s... and, egads!, hard sport.
Nice job on South Side ahab!

i cant trad climb, but watching Russ never stop on AS was super inspiring. Made me realize I should be digging deeper to send my projects.

maybe i should clarify. "proud trad accomplishments" was a lil bit tongue in check. it was more like watching an injured spidermonkey yo-yo up and down the rock face. ugly. as i stated in the sport forum, to make matters worse it was sent on TR shortly thereafter. pathetic.
i do plan to go back soon and i will keep you all updated here. since you're dying of anticipation, i'm sure.
btw rj, if you sent AS in 1 go you will have zero difficulty on headstone...

Bet you could if you put your mind to it.
Oh yeah, and think positive.

I'd been on AS once before on TR about 2 years ago.
I cleaned Headstone last year and it felt pretty doable. Have yet to set foot on Bronto.
Sorry ahab, forgot about your sport post, my bad. But still, I think it takes 'em just to get on these lines.
Lee - Jeff is right. And it will make you a stronger sport climber!

On the trad side... just to keep the gear pluggers interested. Got on an as yet un-named project to see if it will go. Probably going to have to add a bolt in order to keep it from getting the 'R' tacked on at the end. You can always skip it. 30 feet of features (good pro to a run-out, 5.8ish) to 15 feet of thin dihedral (layback with only a couple of small placements, 5.10ish) to about 25 feet of exposed old school hands (great pro and 5.8ish). Partner did some trundling, now I need to do some cleaning.
