I think that a few paint drops worth of damage is equivalent to about 3 seconds of dragging it on sandstone.
Use it.
I always wash paint off my rope with some gas. It comes right off.

that rope is a safety hazard. i retire my ropes at the slightest hint of compromised rope integrity (just ask the people i climb with).
yes, you should retire it and send it to me so that i can hone my master weaver skills. for a small fee (or a large amount of beer) i could weave you a fancy rug right nice...like so:

How old is the rope? Is it a dry rope?

ouch....you're just jealous because he'll beat you again in basketball, scandal or not.
So i washed it off with some gas, paint thinner and battery acid on hard to remove spots. Then i went ahead and peed on it for good measure. Anyone wanna play rope gun for me this weekend?
