I did glue it (summer 1997), but never sent it before I left for the west coast in august of 1997. Just to be clear, though, I'm sure I could have done it. It didn't seem that hard, and I had already done V10 by 1995. I was thinking it would be more like V8/9.

I doubt anyone had done it before I left because:
1) very few people on the east coast/midwest, and nobody I know of at the red except maybe Dave Hume, had climbed legit V10 when I was working on it.
2) It was very dirty, and the flake was creaking and could not hold body weight, hence the glue.

I was young, inexperienced and rolling with the ethics of the time. I haven't used glue since, and appearantly, as it sounds like it broke, the effort was moot anyway...

Thanks for weighing in Tim Steele. Big fan of yours. Your name came up this week when I was climbing with Steve Walters.

Take note kiddies. This is no ordinary spray. Look at the nuance. Years, grades and the awe inspiring "could have" send. Thank you Tim Steele.

Ah yes, the "could have" send. Brilliant. No problem with glue... just stating what I thought was fact, and was, in fact, fact. Yep.

Tim Steele randomly coming in with one post and he's from "Bishtown" AND agrees with OW? Sounds like O -Dub decided to create this Tim Steele account. But These are only assumptions...

Nope...wasn't I, Rotarypwr. Tim actually does live in Bishop... not sure why that seems strange to you.
