We will get through this. I just hope and the end of this economic time we have not permanently altered our country's foundation (capitalism). I do fear however that many of our leaders do want to permanently grow the size and influence of government.....

tbwilson,

I was simply trying to illustrate that the subject of the quote was the difference in philosophy between the two presidents. I was not attacking Obama, or trying to hide from the issues by "rooting" for "my side". Also, I disagree with you on the subject of American exceptionalism. In todays hyper-connected world it's more important than ever to appreciate how great this country and the principles it was founded on are. If that makes me a nationalist then so be it.

At least Reagan was able and willing to present a birth certificate that proved his eligibility to hold the office of president, it would be nice and appropriate for the current president to be able to prove he is also qualified by constitutional requirement to hold the office- what is the big deal- come clean obama, of course if you can't then maybe not doing it as you have been remains your only chance to continue your hoax.

Act Three. Fifteen Trillion Dollar Dismal Science Experiment.

Our crack economics duo, Producer Alex Blumberg and NPR International Economics Correspondent Adam Davidson, on how a dead, slutty, elitist British man, John Maynard Keynes, is about to take over the American economy. President Obama's new stimulus plan relies on Keynes’ theory, which says that government can spend its way out of a downward economic spiral. Alex and Adam explain why this might actually be the first ever test of this very old idea. You can hear Alex and Adam’s other economics stories on the Planet Money podcast. (20 minutes)

uh, wrong and the open court cases are just that- I hope he is legit, we don't need the drama but it would be nice to have an original and not the forged copies, it takes more ID to get a college transcript than obama has produced to be POTUS
