Kind of a catch-22. I think more donations would come in if people knew what they were paying for. Some crags wouldn't motivate me to donate (Griffin Falls, Jamestown) others I would give as much as possible (Sandrock, Little River Canyon, or a new, steep sport crag). I get the dilemma though. I guess I'll just give moderately to start and then more/less later if I have more info.

Driving past the Red without stopping would be tough; kinda like driving by the beer trailor without stopping for a reload. You just can't pass up a golden opportunity when it's right there before you.

Thanks for the information, Bill. Hopefully LCOs will continue to help each other meet payments. SCC members have helped us pay for the PMRP, let's help them out with their local crags!

Regardless of what the crag is or if you'll ever climb there, what's happening (and has been happening) in the Southeast and Kentucky is history in the making. Climbers are buying up climbing areas! If you're new to the sport, scene, or community, that may seem commonplace... but let me assure you that it isn't. The PMRP, Boat Rock, Muir Valley, Roadside, and many other southern crags are privately owned... by climbers and climber organizations.
It ensures that the future of our sport can remain outside...
Be a part of it.
