i think it's more about cravings, isn't it? i feel like i remember reading something to the effect that when you eat sugar, your body craves it. so, you eat more sugar, crave more, etc. artificial sweeteners supposedly have the same effect, so even though it's sugar free, your body still craves sugar.

if i order 2 sausage burritos and an OJ from McDonalds it costs more than if i order the 2 sausage burrito combo. the combo comes w/a hashbrown.

so i ask for the combo w/o the hashbrown and the employees just can't understand why i wouldn't want to pay almost $.50 more in order to NOT have a hashbrown.

artificial sugars are sugars that your body can and does not know how to process. The artifcal sugar goes undetected by your body thus they are expelled. At least that's what I remmeber from my recent nutrition class. I have no idea what TradMike is talking about... The only thing bad about diet coke is the caffeine, it has more caffeine than regular coke.

Artificial sweetners shut down the metabolism. When you eat breakfast in the morning and feel hungry at noon the breakfast fired up your metabolism. If you don't eat breakfast and don't feel hungry at lunch your metabolism was stagnant. Using artificial sweetners messes up this mechanism causing your metablism to not fire up upon eating something sweet even if it's real sugar.

they were crispy and sorry, i didn't know you were there to hear what she said...oh wait that's right, i told you what she said, i guess i should have included her tone of voice and other reactions as to it being about the extra grease she had a problem with but alas i figured that might be understood. once again i always forget about the lowest common denominator. and don't worry i don't use extra energy hating because for so long i used fake hate and thereby that did away with my bodies natural guilt of being this way and now i am this way.

keep wasting energy being a jackass, brah.

i was standing there and thats what she implied. also they have holes in the bottom of the fry bin to allow any excess oil to drain off in case of just such a thing.

i'll twist it around just like you twist it around, thinking i am saying that is what the girl next to me is thinking. so whos is thinking twists??
