How bout Miquel Ventura!! With out him and his wonderful family we would all be much more hungry and would be getting chased off by angry camp ground owners

Good people all of them!

The visionaries and skeptics, diplomats and revolutionaries, sensational and humble, activists and historians, flagrant and anonymous.

I thank you all, and I am inspired.

For the climbing I would recognize the Buckeyes. The founders of the UC Mountaineering Club w/o which I would have never found out about the Gorge and to the UCMC members to whom we owe many choss routes but also some that are outstanding. Then the other part of the Buckeyes, the Beene Bros., Souders, Koenig, Susko, Manimal, Dinsmore for taking RRG trad to it's extreme.

To Porter, Lurkist, Lander, Crabtree for the early sport & leading me to the darkside.

For the access I would definitely second Shannon plus Kristin Snyder for founding the RRGCC and Julie for her support of this effort.

Then overall to Johnny, the King, for everything, the routes, the RRGCC work, the guidebooks, and to pulling some of us Buckeyes out of the closet to reveal our "secret" areas.

I'm grateful for so much. I have been given so much by so many. None of which I deserved!

I'm thankful to Mike Thurston for taking pity on a dirtball looser that wanted to go climbing.

I'm very glad that there are so many people willing to work their asses off for RRGCC and all for no money and little or no thanks. SO THANK YOU ALL.

Miguel & Susan, many wonderful memories situated around the vortex that you all have created Thanks

All of the private land owners I know it doesn't seem like it most of the time, but most of us are really grateful the rest of us are just asses.

Thanks to pigsteak for being a uniter not a divider.

Team Suck and anyone else fixing and maintaining routes/anchors there were a lot more scary ones before you all got going.

Just a few who made a difference.

Thanks to Johnny and Tina for letting me hang with the family back in the day. Johnny will forever be the king of the gorge!

Thanks to Lurkist, THE MAN, for getting me into this senseless activity. When I see him psyched to train when he knows he won't be able to climb for months, I think "I'm not worthy!" And Pete inspires too!

Thanks to the Snyd, aka Buster for always being so cool to me. You are an inspiration, though you might not know it. Ashtray, that goes for you too.

The old schoolers, Crankmas, Hamsco, Funhog. It's good to know I'm not the only old fart out there! Lutes, where you at??

Thanks to Josie, my patient partner and friend, for the good times and for putting up with me.

Private landowners, The Webers Dr, Bob, Grant Stephens. It'll never be worth it for you but for what it's worth, thanks!

Buckeyes who blazed trails, Static, Bargo, Schorle, Steve Must, and especially Mr. Alex Cudkowicz.

Hoosiers, t bone, Sultan, et al. Remember the old days?

New friends too numerous to enumerate, hope to see you soon!

RRGCC, Team Suck, and all others who are so generous with their time it's not even funny.

Peace and love.

C'mon Shamis, let it all out, go ahead and cry.

Thank all the posers for making me still want to get out and get better.

All of the above people who us weekend warriors never meet, but see their work on every trip.

Thanks to each and every one of the people in this community. without this community and this sport i would be going in another direction in my life that would lead to unhappiness and prob a 3 piece suit w/ a cubicle. this collection of amazing people helped me find my passion, my place, and i hope to take those vibes with me on all my travels and in every aspect of life.
