As long as you get one bomber piece above the halfway point, you're OK, right?

He was no caver, and I live by that theory too. All you need is one peice a little past half way up.

I went climbing with a guy like that. He was climbing a 5.8 and took up all his draws, a few nuts, a figure eight, and an atc. This was also his first time leading a sport climb. One of the big things that got me was how he was talking about how he would never let a girl belay him because he didn't trust girls. (I personally think that he is a dick for saying that. There are some AWESOME girls out there like Lisa Rands, and Stella Marchisio that can blast past me and a lot of people I know.) Then,...as he is trying with all his might to work his way up. There was this AWSOME chick two climbs over that just blew him away. And she was doing a 5.9 if I remember. I don't have to tell you that he isn't climbing with me or my friends anymore.

What I really hate is when I go to climb sport and half way up the route at a sketchy clip I realize that I've clipped al my draws to the rear gear loops on my harness as if I were leaving room for my tradly gear in the front.

Also sucks when I decide to do sport on a trad climbing day and all I have are my shoulder sling draws. Every clip the biners are upside down and the slings get all tangled.
