Yeah... Not quite the way it went down. Same way with "In the Light" at Military. He did have a way of absorbing things and ideas and then making them his own - since he was the most vocal (imagine that) of the group. I sure do miss that big dummy.

yeah it makes sense

so what's the story? overlord is one of my favorite routes and i'd appreciate the history of it.

It's not a big story KD. For both Overlord and In the Light, he was present but didn't do much in the way of bolting or cleaning or FA-ing. I got to do most of the fun stuff. The funniest part was that myself and another climber had to rescue him from the top of In the Light. Classic Terry for sure.
