Nah, had to diet along with it! Running does reshape my lower body, abate my appetite, and help me sleep better at night. That's when I seriously run. Right now, I'm 2 miles about 3 times a week. That's honestly all I have time for....dammit! I squeeze in yoga, lifting, and climbing when I can. I need an old sugar daddy!you guys lost weight when you ran?!?

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

longlegsrule, I started a similar thread on this awhile back so maybe you could find an answer there: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... 44&start=0
You're nearly a waif so I don't know why you're worried about weight loss. Try focusing on toning yourself and just staying healthy.

and I didn't assume you all had any weight to lose when you started...that's why I was shocked that you did lose weight...
so back to the obsessive working out thing...I have a friend that's a freak about running...he's only and inch taller than me and weighs 145-150 pds...to me THAT's obsessive...holding onto his arm...you'd think you were holding onto a twig...
