all three!

IMO, if you haven't been, LRC is the one to go to. a day with lots 'o people when you don't have to deal with the permit system, every problem is marked (there's no existing guidebook, per se), and stellar/phenomenal climbing

i won't be going to any, I'll be lucky if i get one weekend in the red all fall.

The boulders more spread out was my read on that one. But since I've never been to HP40 I'm not certain.

The boulders are more spread out than at LRC and especially Hounds Ear. This is space in between climbers and blocks, dig? That said, the campground is right next to the boulderfield and not a 30 minute bus ride away. That easier for you to grasp?

I have already signed up for hound ears, and would like to go to hp40 also, becuase I have a feeling it might be the last year for hp40 in the triple crown. See ya in NC.

Let's just hope the Schultz's aren't doing the food this year. That was a disaster last year. They are nice people, but don't have a clue how to do a lot of food in a timely manner.
