Should avatars be enabled?

Post by ray »

Avatars are the little pictures next to a person's username.
I think they add distraction to threads and make the threads slower to load. What do you think?

I think that they can be cool to look at. The bouncey ones do get annoying though. PLus when I did a search for the m on google, I got alot of Porn related ones!! So this week I could be a brunette.......

Damn I thought I was going to keep shaking! So glad the board is back up!!

I vote no for avatars. They are fun, once. I mean, I like my Pee Pee Time girl but all that bouncing does get annoying. We have all the cute smilies we need, eh?

I like them, as long as they don't bounce around!

i think those things are kinda gay. it would be cool to put a pic of each person below their name. that way, if you see people at the crag that have pissed you off, you can immediately start brawling.

Not for 'em. While on faster machines (at work) they don't add that much load time, but at home they sometimes do. That and they make the bord look cluttered and junky. I'd like to "know" people as their screen names and not Homer Simpson eating a doughnut.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
