So are you going to call Rick or are you just going to trample over everything thats been accomplished by the CC and the folks at Muir? Take some tired-ass photos at the darkside (that have been done a thousand times before)?

As for your 14 climber friend...whatever. you come off sounding like a sprayfag...f'ing jackass....

i already talked to rick (and will again). i'm also talking with the cc folks. but thanks again, chiefy.

and i can't believe it but you're actually jealous of people who climb harder than you. that's so lame/childish/gumby-like/etc.

i think articles about climbing couples are great! i would say do some research into a few of these relationships..

spragwa and sandy:

horatio and pawilkes:

rhino and charlie:

they might not climb as hard as some of the more popular climbing couples but they're all very sweet and affectionate couples ;)

The solar collector/darkside/gold coast areas were featured in both rock and ice and climbing this spring - includeing a mini guide. All with the help (and blessing) of the RRGCC, so the access issue thing is pretty good, and the more people that are aware of the area and the need for dontaions, etc. is a good thing.

I was prepared to not like urban climber at first, but, other then I think the layout is kinda *busy*, it isn't to bad. Way more photos then the other two mags, and I do not just read it for the articles - I love the climbing photo porn.

I guess I'm just upset over the article in Rock and Ice and how they just walked all over the locals to sell a few magazines.

If you are in legitimate contact with the CC and Rick then cool.... you can't go wrong. I hope your article and photos turn out great.

As for the spraying thing. Ask anyone. It sounds really bad.

Jealous. maybe 8)

next time i will acquaint myself more thoroughly with the "sort" feature of the online guide book before posting a question dealing with grades. i hate to sound like i'm spraying when i'm just trying to get some legitimate info. i hate spray. ask anyone.

anti-spray spray!! this is a growing epidemic in the gorge right now.. people who are incredibly vocal about their modesty.. they love to spray about how much they don't spray or disapprove of spraying.

yeah! spraying is for sprayers! remember w.w.s.d. (what would sharma do?) he wouldn't put a grade on his climbs, i'll tell you that much right now. what's the opposite of spray? yarps. that's right. we should all practice yarps, aka anti-spray, aka nayspray, aka nobodycaresbutyou.
