Ok, we've kicked this around for awhile now...lets have a poll.

too vague. I won't vote on any of the 3 options. I'd say a couple pieces of 7x19 galvanized swedged on both ends with thimbles and a beefy maillon would do the trick and be light weight so that it wouldn't destroy the rock.
