1. Before drinking, eat foods high in fat to coat your intestines so the alcohol doesn't absorb so easily in the body. A plate full of cheese fries will do the trick.

2. Alcohol is a diuretic so take in the fluids to rehydrate (Canuck's idea will dehydrate you even more).

3. Alcohol contains a lot of impurities that are added during the distillation process. Eat burnt toast because the carbon on the toast helps filter that. If you go to the ER with alcohol poisoning, you'll get a more potent version of burnt toast pumped into your stomach.

sorry, i also should have said: with LOTS of water. the salt might be just for me, since i sometimes seem to have issues with hyponatremia.

My hangover cure: Goodies powder (not to be inhaled), Cheez-Its & Skim milk on ice.

if you drink a lot you will stop having hangovers. so that is what i do.

Excedrin, Ale-8 and any food you can stomach. If all else fails then start drinking, again.
