The second pitch was tough on me and I wasn't leading. 2 cruxes. A roof then a leaning A chimney into an OW. Take a brush and the second crux will be easier. We replaced the webbing , the topout is stellar. Wish I had walked around on top a bit. I do'nt know about aiding it unless you leapfrog a couple 5s. I only did the first pitch of Shakedown. Its not bad. Might be cool to try it on TR from the top of PDN. Just rap down to the tree on top the first pitch. You'll see it. The Dome is nice and quite if theres no one camping at the parking spot.

I've been thinking about hiking up on top and rapping down Shakedown St. to scout the upper sections. Don't want to die on it or anything, but it sounds cool and exciting.
I've been most of the way around it. I'm not so sure it's possible to just hike up.
I remember some short walls above the ledge where the lizard pinnacle is. Shakedown and Private Duty are the only routes that go all the way to the top.

circle right from the routes toward the pinnacle and you can scramble up. you can 4th class up a chimney way around the to left too... but it's way around there.

I've been on top before and hiked probably (been quite a while so my usually impeccable memory fails me) all the way to Eye of the Storm. Can't remember exactly how I got past the ledge where BBLP is but I do remember it made more sense to rappel back to the ledge system.
We ran into super thick rhodos hiking left and stopped. I never went past the pinnacle but you keep going and you can walk up? So you can hike up there and follow that ridge over to Coffin ridge I suppose.
