anyone know what the closest bouldering to the Gatlinburg area would be? direction doesn't matter

Boone, NC is not that far away. The Nolichuchy Gorge might have some good bouldering as would the Linville Gorge.

There is No bouldering in NC or the rest of the south for that matter. No, none at all. Zero. Ziltch. Nada. None. Go back to your ropes there is no bouldering here. Its all low ball smoke and mirrors video trickery. Its all hype dont belive the videos . you can do crazy shit with a good camera and lens. Every chunck of rock I can walk around is silly and usless except to stand on and spray from between burns.

boone is the shit. i loved climbing there, i might even go down July 31st for a day. but i need to get a new crash pad. i sold mine to buy gear...

Crankmas is such a choad. I have told you time and time again to come down and hang at my house and sample the best bouldering in the SE. Why do you continue to ignore me?

time is on my side, this trip is, well, kinda wierd-see ya soon, 50 degrees only seems like 6 months away at this point-you would have loved Torrent last night the clouds were 5 feet off the ground, the bugs were the size of sparrows-it was lovely-
