Fishing for the History....

Post by Power2U »

Any of you old school boys know the scoop on Golden Touch... Lurkist???

Who bolted it? Who allegedly chippped / glued / drilled it, and where? Who got the FA, and the order / dates that these events happened?

I know Dave Hume got the F/A but did he do that before or after the route morphed??? I also have a few of the other sorted details but would love to hear from someone who really knows.

I'd love to get an idea of what happened here if anyone really knows. I am not starting this thread to talk about the ethics of chipping just to get some historical background.

Thanks.

um...I think it's sordid...
Sordid - 1.) dirty or squalid

Don't you love it when one definition in the dictionary gives you another word you have to look up!

Squalid - 1.) Filthy 2.) Mean or poor.

um... I don't think I meant Sordid... thanks though...I learned something new.

I meant to use sorted here as short for "assorted" details... meaning of various related pieces of information.
