Great job goes out to T-sparks, Wes and Diggum for running in the Bluegrass 10000 in Lexington on Monday morning!
Looks like you guys were having a lot of fun but why didn't you stop by to see the new residence? You just ran right by...you cut me deep fellas, real deep.
Oh and Frzsnow we waited until the very end to see you running but must have missed you in the crowd. Hope you enjoyed the run!
Thanks a Lot!

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I didn't see you guys. I must've been hallucinating by that time. I would've gladly taken a break to check out the love pad.
We looked for you at the celebration...did you walk down?

No, we ended up unpacking. Yee-haw!
We screamed our heads off for you but seeing as we were around mile 4.5 or so, I can understand if you were really tired. I was tempted to run after you in my flip-flops but thought that to be a faux pas in the race world.

Congrats Wes and Diggum, I hope that you all were more motivated than I was. After a very hot day climbing on Sunday and then a family barbeque later that night, I wasn't very sure that I wanted to get up early and run. In the end I was glad that I did, but man, did it feel good to crawl back in bed when I got home.

My most enlightened moment was at noon. After running, cooling down, hanging out downtown a bit, walking back to the car, driving home, showering and cleaning up, and then driving to eat lunch, I realized that if I were doing a full marathon I would have still been running...

Weather for the race was pretty nice - there was a good breeze. The training part did suck a little, but LAC has A/C and a nice track and I like to run outside at night anyway, so that helped a bit.
We should get a nice crew together for the midsummers night run. Maybe mandatory beer every mile?
