I got stopped going ~90 mph in a 65 zone outside of Indy a few years ago. The radar detector didn't save me and the trooper had such a great hiding place that I didn't even see him until it was too late. Before he had a chance to say anything to me I complimented him on his great hiding spot and told him that I didn't even see him! He started laughing and then we got into a conversation about my job and my car. This kind officer then said to me that if I told him how fast I was going that he would give me a warning. What a nice guy! That's happened to me twice (different troopers though)!
