www.mojozone.co.nz is the best site that i know of for NZ climbing. the best/biggest places down there are Paynes Ford near Nelson (NW corner of South Island), Castle Hill for bouldering and sport near Christchurch, and the Wharapapa area in the middle of the North Island south of Cambridge (this is where i learned to lead). there is a trad area on the Coromandal Pennisula where you climb on the beach but i won't have my trad rack with me most likely so i don't know if i'll check it out. sounds beautiful there.

there is a video dedicated to New Zealand called Southern Faces. I met the guy, Adrian, who made it Hueco and he sold me a copy at the special dirtbag price. (probably one of the only financial benefits of not owning any pants without holes in them) He lived in New Zealand for two years to make the video.

It is a nice video but more of a documentary than a show case of rad climbing. it showcases every major climbing area there and talks to the developers/legendary climbers, goes into the history and such. personally a prefer videos that I can throw in the player for five minutes to get me psyched to go and send. but if you were planning on visiting and wanted a video preview you should pick it up.
