WTB: Cheap car

Post by Wes »

So, anyone have a under $1,000 car they are looking to sell? Doesn't need to look good at all, just run pretty well. Cheaper the better...

Wish I had known a few weeks earlier. Just donated a '94 Grand Cherokee and a 90 Camry. Would have much rather sold 'em to a climber.

Good luck.

Wes,
You should try going to the KASP public auction. Take someone that knows a little about cars and you should be able to find a decent car pretty cheap.

Auctions are good, but make sure you take someone who is mechanically inclined!! not all those cars you see that look nice, will run well.

I have a '92 Mazda Protege with 170,000 miles on it. Still runs great, air, needs brakes. $800
I've had just about enough of this shit.

an old car can be a good ting to have around - we were offered 500. for our '89 honda civic as a trade-in. we turned it down because even though it looks like hell it gets 30 or so mpg. it turned out to be a good decesion.
