In the future could the first ascentionists please follow the proper Muir Valley protocol (like all of the others have kindly done) in reporting the route names, etc. ? This would be very helpful to avoid any future mistakes and/or misunderstandings. Unfortunately this will probably be printed in the guidebook incorrectly as "Triple Sec". Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

I heard the video was all hard sport (mostly) but decided to purchase it anyway. You know, cuz I believe when it comes to videos, cds, books, maps...whatever, if a climber goes through all that trouble to put something like that together, I'm going to support them. So I bought it yesterday and watched it last night.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I love the fact that it's mostly sport. Victory Productions did a wonderful job editing and using creativity in putting this together. The shot of the mayor with the blue background was a stunning and awesome composition. I would love to have a still photo of that shot to hang in my office. Also, the lighting was great in the interviews, very professional (I teach photographic lighting so I notice these things). I also liked the history takes. I felt after watching the video, the artist knew what hard sport climbing life was like at the gorge...the stuff that happens during the week, not just the weekend warrior life. It was obvious to me the author put a lot of thought into what he felt belonged in the video. The things that are sentimental to him as well as inspiring. A true piece of climbing art.
I don't know this guy, but I give him an A++++

I went to the Red to watch the premier and I can honestly say that I am VERY impressed with Spencer's work. After talking to many people and hearing how much work he put into this video, I don't think it could have worked out any better for him. Good job Spencer! Keep em coming! If you haven't seen this video yet, you are missing out! You better get a copy as soon as possible!

i watched the video and think it's well shot and very fun as climbing videos go. climbers falling off climbs is cool. I actually liked that people looked desparate. Other climbing videos often make climbs look too easy, denying the honesty of the sport. I don't like "jackass" style stupidity on film, so i could have dealt without kids setting stuff on fire, shooting illegal weapons, falling of slacklines, and blowing up fruit. sumo was funny though. I liked the way spencer shot the climbs, fast forward through the "easy" parts and close ups of the nasty holds. i missed perspective shots. I don't think he was preying on the locals, but did notice he didn't interview the locals that aren't as colorful as the mayor and donnie... why? that would have been boring huh? so, i'd give it a B-. Could have been edited a little tighter probably, and it seems to just end abruptly.
