Have you had a dog before VA? Lots of work and expense. We just spent well over a grand in the last 2 months on Dusty (she's getting old). Well worth it, but just something to consider! But a puppy.................RHINO, they are sooooooooooo cute!

I would not trade Dakota for love nor money. She and I have been through a lot and she's my constant companion. We come as a pair. She's been known as puppymonster, psychota, demon devil fuck dog, etc., til she calmed down at the ripe ol age of 4 years old. VA, you shouldn't be afraid of her, she always makes those noises.

Anyway, that being said, Dakota was not an easy dog to raise. We worked with a trainer for months. I have to stay on her to reinforce her training. If I give an inch, she's all over me. I believe that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to have a good dog. Esp. when it's part husky. I doubt I'll ever get another husky mix. I would always recommend that people research what kind of dog they want by the lifestyle that they intend to lead. Dakota has turned into a tremendously wonderful crag dog (in my humble opinion) but damn it's taken work.

Phil, of course I don't hate you...but that doesn't mean I won't whip your ass!!! (typed in jest..kind of...okay not really)

Oh yeah, Pawilkes! Of course I remember! I tend to remember people's board names. Sorry! I think I offered you a ride on Allen's send! I'm generous with his sweat!

Sorry again, but if Spragwa whips your ass, I gotta watch! :P
