Many of you saw the puppy I found at Miguel's that had been dropped off. Well, it turns out that I won't be able to keep her and I'm really bummed. I don't want to have to take her to the humane society and I'm sure there's a climber out there that would love to have her.
She's a really sweet puppy, I've named her Suzie and I'm guessing she's about a year old. She's extremely friendly to kids and other dogs.
Oh, and the best part...she's an excellent crag dog. She pulls you up the trail and then once you're up there she sleeps the majority of the time.
I'll post a picture of her as soon as I can. Anybody interested?

I can't answer those questions lordjim but if I could convince Rhino that we were responsible enough for a dog I'd grab Suzie. She is extraordinarily friendly, doesn't seem to jump on people and is about the prettiest dog I've ever seen. (Excluding River and Benny but they get the Frankie Blue Eyes awards.)
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

VA & Rhino--you guys definately need a dog. She can hang out with Benny, he'll show her the ropes of dog parties at the crag. They will quickly wear each other out & then sleep the rest of the day. Perfect plan!! As I always say a good dog is an exhausted dog.
"God dammit why can't we just get some beer!!!"~~Tamara
well the good thing is that dogs taste good with ketchup
seriously though...if you turn your dog over to a shelter they will probably put her down in about a week...the sad thing is that if you give your dog to a "no kill" shelter they may even ship it to a kill shelter and let them do their dirty work for them.
Of course you could just turn her out.....

Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.
