Dang it squeeze! Now I have a song stuck in my head...
On the boardwalk....da da da da daaaadaa...
Muir is a great example of the generosity of members of the climbing community. Thanks y'all!
Would it work to place a few longer boards flat under the boardwalk, perpendicular to it? Acting under the snowshoe idea?
Great Wall Approach Trail is Dry... Honest!
Hehe, reminds me of this:
FATHER: Listen, lad. I've built this kingdom up from nothing.
When I started here, all there was was swamp. The king said I was
daft to build a castle in a swamp, but I built it all the same,
just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second
one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That
burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth
one stayed up. An' that's what your gonna get, lad -- the strongest
castle in these islands.

Sarcasm is a tool the weak use to avoid confrontation. People with any balls just outright lie.

The more surface area the supports have under the walk, the less it will sink (like lying on a bed of nails vs. stepping on one). And beware of using vertical posts, lest we get a bluegrass version of Venice, Italy.
All that said, thanks a lot for the work guys. Though the stream and swamp crossing provided some serious hilarity, it'll be nice to not have to deal with it.
