The 5.8 is called "27 years of climbing" and is the route I was climbing when Johnny had his heart attack. The FA was done by his son Alex the day of Johnny's memorial along with Stacy Temple and myself.
Please don't climb the route with the pink tag and missing bolts.
The other route is 10c/d, The FA was Alex and I need to get with Tina to get a name.

The RRGCC has just been informed that three archaeological sites at Sky Bridge Ridge West have been fenced off by the Forest Service resulting in the closure of the following five routes:
"Refraction"
"The Great Arch"
"Guideline"
"The Hook and the Pendulum"
"Icarus"
Please revise the online guide accordingly and please respect the closures. As more closures are put into effect, as expected, the information will be posted both here and on the RRGCC website.

I'm thinking that pink tag won't last long and a bunch of people aren't going to know what's special about that route and climb it anyway. I'm not familiar with ownership in that area, but maybe some sort of metal plaque mounted to the rock at teh base of the climb would be in order?
Ticking is gym climbing outdoors.

From what I understand, the Forest Service has looked for potential arch sites & endangered species conflicts at every major crag on their land. Other temporary closures are pending and will be announced as fences are put up. The good news, as I think I posted in another thread, is that plans to reopen some closed portions at Military are in the works. The intention is that the Military project will be the model for the future.

From what I can see I have little faith that routes will be opened (on FS land) at a greater rate than they are closed... It doesn't look too promising...

I think that statement would be true regardless of the closures. I know that with the amount of time that the bureaucratic wheels of the the Forest Service take to turn it is easy to be pessimistic. From my discussions with various people in the Forest Service I do get reassurance that they are committed, in time, to follow the new Forest Plan in regards to climbing. This is a Plan that both sets a goal to provide additional rock climbing opportunities and that states that dispersed recreation, including rock climbing, is generally allowed.
