Micro Camalots Vs TCUs

Post by Texas Pete »

I don't have any of these Micro camalots to compare with, but do you get more reach with them then you do a TCU? I'm talking about from trigger to cam.

i'm pretty sure you do, but i really don't care for microcamolots. A buddy has them, so I occasionally use them, but like my tcu's and aliens much more. The heads of the microcamolots seem too wide. Is there a reason you're worried about the reach?

i dont know anything about microcamolots, but i was wondering how people feel about Alians vs. Zeros? i know everybody love aliens, but why are they better then the zeros??? im also not talking about off-set aliens because those are the shit.

micro camalots have a good reach - like aliens better but have used them both.

I love my Metolius TCU's! They've taken considerable abuse and caught their share of falls.

speaking from the point of the old micro camalots - i like then however the ends were milled a bit rough and tended to feel bad on my thumbs. i taking a round file to lightly smooth them a tad.

Just looking for more reach so I can still work the trigger in tight places. I had a situation with a flaring tight hands/ off fingers crack. I could not hold the TCU well enough to get it back in there. After much fiddling I put in a decent nut placement. I have some REI dividend type money to spend and thought the micros might be a good use for that.

Maybe you should have put the nut in in the first place! I usually find it easier to place passive pro on anything smaller than the yellow Metolius.
