i wanted a 70 meter rope for rapping down long routes and bought a blue water accelerator - it was a good rpoe pretty much but the sheath didn't last very long. had a mammut supersafe that handled very nicely right out of the bag - it never kinked once. real smooth rope - i think it went flat too soon personally. my best performing ropes so far have been sterlings with the exception of kinking some until they break in.
RRO- has a nice 60m Maxim Leavitator? that looks nice, I'm sure it would be value priced-its new also- Backcountry.com is a good source and has a nice variety
TODD U DONT NEED A ROPE WE ALL HAVE ROPES. YOU CAN LAWAYS BORROW MINE. HELL USE SCOBROS. HIS HAS HARDLY EVER BEEN USED. HE JUST BUMS OFF DAVE AND I. BUT I DO LOVE MY BI-COLOR STRELING 10.2 AWESOME ROPE
Who Me? I gotta hitch hike god damn 18 miles to get a god damn beer......that's bullshit.
I know all of you guys have ropes, but I still like to have my own, and even though I haven't been able to get out much this year, I have put quite a bit of mileage on the rope I have. And Scott's rope is never an option for me, I just don't like the sound of 9.4
