Due to excavation work this week, THE MAIN PARKING LOT IS CLOSED! It will reopen next weekend. Until next Saturday, you will have to park at the temporary parking area at the end of the main road (where many of you already park to access the Valley floor via the old logging road.)
Three weeks ago, we expanded the main parking lot to hold 28 cars. The next Sunday, there were 33. So, we started yesterday further expanding the parking lot to accommodate about 40 cars with overflow in dry weather down below the main parking lot for about 12 more. We also undertook a major excavation job to remove the hump in the road leading from the main road to the parking lot so that it won't be so steep. Many of you have had a problem spinning the gravel climbing the old steep road.
Thanks for your patience.
Rick

When is the installation of the five story parking gargage happening? Also, the escalators to the valley floor should be high on the list.
Sarcasm is a tool the weak use to avoid confrontation. People with any balls just outright lie.

Thanks, Squeeze, but you'll have your hands full (as usual) keeping Boy Wonder J-Rock out of trouble.squeezindlemmon wrote:Need any help this weekend?
Remember, we do have a date for a steak dinner for your photo of the bear in Muir. Your "bear" is almost as ugly and smelly as a real one, so you get the prize.
See you at the Red.
