Help Needed-Have you been to The Gallery or Volunteer Wall

Post by SCIN »

Crunch time is here for me with the guidebook. I have only a few walls left to do and Volunteer Wall and The Gallery are two of them. The only problem is I've never been to these walls so I'm having problems writing them up. I have to leave for a week so I may not even get to make it to the walls at all.

So...I'm wondering if those of you who have climbed at those two walls can give me a hand with the details of the routes. They're both in the online guide so all you have to do is add comments to the routes and I can take it from there. Things that would help are the following:
Distance between routes (approximate)?
Type of climbing (juggy, pockets, flakes, etc.)
How good is the route? (Just give them a star rating using the "Star Rating" option)
Directions to the wall (are they correct already?)
Names of the routes!!!
Any other comments would help.

Thanks so much to those who help with this.

Ray,
I just went to the Gallery for the second time yesterday and I paid closer attention.

Blake: 10a. 7 bolts. Good route. Great warm-up. Deserves a name.
Smack Dab: 11a. 6 bolts.
Different Strikes: 11c. 6 bolts.
Random Precision: 11b. 6 bolts. Looks great. Vertical/thin. Has been wet lately.
11+ TR crack: Looks good. Thin at the top.
5.9 TR chimney/crack: Big and bad.
Gold Rush: 11d. 8 bolts. One of the best 11d's in the gorge.
Mosaic: 12c. 7 bolts (Chris just added another first bolt to eliminate the need for a 20 ft stick-clip. Also a very good route.
All That Glitters: 12-something?? Has not had a FFA?? Beautiful corner. VERY hard sequence down low.
Break the Scene: 12b. 8 bolts. Climbs the corner down to the right of All That Glitters. Looks good.
The King Lives On/Johnny B Good: These routes are with two others way down to the right.
